Mold remediation in Northfield County
Find the moisture. Contain it. Remove it. Prove it's gone.
Mold comes back when the water problem stays. We fix the cause first, remove the growth under containment, and have an independent assessor confirm the result before anything is rebuilt.

Containment
How we keep spores out of the rest of your home
Before removal starts, the work area is sealed and held at negative pressure. Air moves into the work area, never out of it.
Simplified plan view of a typical bathroom job. Every house is different, so your written protocol shows your own layout.
Our process
Six steps, in this order
Inspection and moisture mapping
We find where the mold is and where the water came from, using a moisture meter and thermal imaging. You get a written scope and price.
Fix the water source
Mold returns if the leak stays. We coordinate the plumber or roofer, or handle small repairs ourselves.
Containment and negative air
We seal the work area with plastic sheeting and run a HEPA air scrubber that exhausts outdoors.
Removal
Affected drywall, insulation and other porous materials are cut out and bagged in the containment area. Surfaces that stay are HEPA vacuumed and wiped.
Dry and clean
Dehumidifiers and air movers run until the structure reaches normal moisture readings.
Clearance testing
An independent assessor tests the area. When it passes, the rebuild begins.

Can I just clean mold with bleach?
Surface cleaning rarely solves it. Mold grows into porous materials like drywall, and it returns if the moisture source isn't fixed. We start by finding the cause.
Do I need to leave my home?
Often not. With proper containment the rest of the house stays usable. We'll tell you at the inspection if your situation is different.
How long does remediation take?
Small areas usually take one to three days. Larger jobs can take a week or more, plus drying time and clearance testing.
Will insurance pay for it?
It depends on your policy and the cause. We give you photos, moisture readings and a written scope to send to your adjuster.
